You can cancel and edit future (not yet approved and scheduled) Template events directly from the Templates screen. To do this, navigate to the Scheduler > Templates Tab. You can then select the template which you would like to cancel or modify a future event for. From here, you can click the "Calendar" button in the top right corner:
Please note that deleting events from the Calendar tab will only remove the selected instance of the event and will not affect the template itself or its future instances.
After clicking the "Calendar button", you can navigate to the events you need to cancel, click on the event, and then select “Delete Event” or "Edit Event":
Selecting "Delete Event" will simply remove the unapproved event from the template. However, it is important to note that this action only applies to the specific instance of the event and does not impact the recurrence of future instances in the template.
After selecting "Edit Event," you will be taken to a screen with two tabs. The first tab allows you to make any adjustments to the date, time, staff, service, pets, or notes on the event.
The second tab shows and allows you to undo any deleted events on the template. It's worth noting that the system does not track which user performed the deletion—only the date when the deletion occurred is recorded.
Note: When the iteration of the template that includes the date you deleted comes up for approval, TTP will not approve any events that have been previously deleted. Additionally, to remove a service entirely from all future instances of a template, you should delete it from the Services tab instead of the Calendar tab.
