Great! As these are existing students, the first step is to prepare a spreadsheet.
Step 1 - Download a logins spreadsheet:
Matching students from your spreadsheet to existing users is the trickiest part of the steps below. To make it easy, please download your current user list:
Go to Account > Classes
Tick all classes containing students that you wish to update
Click Download > Logins Spreadsheet
Step 2 - Update the spreadsheet:
Passwords:
Edit the "Password" column so that it contains the new passwords you wish the students to have.
Usernames:
Do not update the existing "Username" column (this will be used to match the students).
Instead, please add a new column with the title "Username New". Put the new usernames into that column.

Step 3 - Upload the spreadsheet
Go to Account > Classes > Upload CSV and follow the onscreen instructions.
Once it completes, you'll be told they've uploaded successfully and be given the chance to save the username labels, a logins spreadsheet and parent letters.
