Top Tip - Using the Filters

At the top of every stats page, you’ll see several filter options. When you adjust the filters on one page, your changes automatically carry over to all other stats pages. This makes it easy to focus on specific groups or timeframes without reapplying filters each time. Filter options:

  • Choose which schools and year groups you're viewing data for by clicking the 'More Filter' option (top left).

  • Choose which 'group' you're viewing data for. The options are Schools, Year Groups, Pastoral Classes or Maths Classes. If Maths or Pastoral Classes are selected you may also see a 'Split mixed year group classes' toggle.

  • Choose the timeframe you're viewing data for. The options are All Time, 30 days, 14 days or 7 days.

Effort

The Effort is super handy for quickly identify how often Times Tables Rock Stars is being used. Metrics explained:

Fluency

Quickly identify which groups are “passing” each table based on two customisable metrics:

  1. Pass Speed – The average speed at which the group answers questions correctly in each table.

  2. Students Passing – The percentage of students in the group who have met the Pass Speed.

The default settings are: Pass Speed = 6 seconds and Students Passing = 80%. In other words, a group passes a table when 80% of students achieve the 6-second Pass Speed.

How do I know which groups are passing these tables?
