The MTC Hub gives you access to key data from the Online Multiplication Tables Check (OUMTC) and Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) for all your schools with at least one year four student listed.

There are three main tabs in the Hub:

  1. Home – A simple overview of results (similar to what schools see).

  2. Schools’ Results – Key OUMTC and MTC data for the current and previous years.

  3. Resources – Helpful tools and guides .

Schools Results'

Top Tip - Using the Filters

At the top of the page, you’ll find three filters:

  1. More Filters – Select which schools to view and which years of National or School Group averages to compare.

  2. Type Filter – Switch between results for Schools (default) or Maths Classes.

  3. Score Slider – Pick a target score. For example:

    • 25 = students with full marks. This is the default setting.

    • 20 = students scoring 20 or more

Explore the Summary Panel

On the left-hand side, you’ll see:

  • Average Autumn, Spring, and Summer OUMTC scores

  • MTC scores (if uploaded by schools)

  • Score changes between the most recent tests

  • % of pupils achieving your chosen threshold

Tips:

  • Use the dropdown to switch academic years.

  • Click the camera icon to save the panel as an image.

Explore the Main Table

The main table shows results for each school or class, including:

  • How many students from that group have been enrolled into the OUMTC.

  • Their average score on each of the OUMTC's.

  • Their average score for the MTC. Provided the school teacher has uploaded this data.

  • How their score has improved overtime.

  • How many students in the group achieved a specific score. This is set by you using the 'Score Threshold Slider'.

Tips:

  • Click column headers to sort the table.

  • Use More Filters to fine tune the table to your needs, dialling into specific schools or comparing averages with previous years.

  • Click the CSV icon to download the data.

FAQ

A school or class is missing from the table

The table only shows schools and classes with at least one Year 4 student. If you don’t see a school or class, it usually means the year group has not been set correctly.

Students have completed the MTC but the data isn't there

If data is missing, the teacher may not have uploaded the students’ MTC scores yet. You can check back later once the scores are available.
