NumBots' Certificate Hub enables you to create and save a customised pack of certificates, tailored to your needs, which you can return to whenever you need to print up-to-date certificates that are auto-populated with the children's names.

For example, you could create a single pack of certificates to reward the top three highest earners over the past 7 days; the three pupils who've shown the most improvement at number bonds to 10 since last week; and any stage completion certificates your pupils have earned in the past week. Then, return to the Certificate Hub each Friday, for example, to download that week's certificates in just one click - which you could print off and hand out in your weekly NumBots celebration assembly.

The flexibility of the Certificate Hub is enormous. Once you've created and saved the "perfect" pack(s) for you, you will find it an incredibly useful tool to quickly produce beautiful, motivational certificates for your pupils while significantly cutting down your admin time.

Tip: If possible, spend some time having a play about, exploring and getting to grips with the Certificate Hub. Start by creating a simple pack, so you understand how the the tool works, before you try to reward dozens of different achievements in one go.

How to initially create certificates:

  • Go to Certificate Hub (in the main menu, on left of screen) and click the green Create Certificates button.

  • In the "Certificate Settings" pop-up that appears...

  1. Give the pack of certificates a name (for your reference, so that you recognise which pack it is if you create more in the future).

  2. Select the population by choosing "Maths Classes", "Pastoral Classes", or "Yeargroups", then ticking the group(s) of pupils you'd like to include*.

  3. Choose what timespan you'd like the certificates to relate to.

  4. Select what you'd like to award the certificates for. For "top 3" certificates, you will first need to first choose whether to award the certificates based on pupils' total scores over the timespan and/or on their improvement**.

  5. Choose whether you want the downloaded certificates to be in full colour or reduced colour, to save printing ink.

  6. Decide whether to print pupils' bot names or real names on the certificates.

  • Check the summary on the right hand side of the "Certificate Settings" pop-up. Then, when you are happy with the certificates, press the green Save button. (If the button is still grey, please look back though the settings to find out and correct whatever is missing.)

Print your saved certificates:

  • Go to Certificate Hub (in the main menu, on left of screen) where you'll find the certificate pack(s) you've created under "Saved Certificates".

  • In the "Actions" column, click Download (small green button with arrow pointing downwards) next to your certificate pack, to download a printable PDF containing all the up-to-date certificates, auto-populated with your pupils' names.

Display winners' names in assembly presentation:

You can display the names of the pupils that are being awarded certificates using our exciting scrapyard themed certificate presentation - perfect for projecting during an assembly or awards celebration as you hand out the certificates:

  • Go to Certificate Hub (in the main menu, on left of screen).

  • In "Saved Certificates", click Presentation (green button with image of projector screen), next to the pack of certificates that you've printed off and are awarding.

  • In the pop-up that appears, check that the award categories for the certificates you want to present are selected. Then click the green Start Presentation button.

The presentation will then open in full screen (press "Esc" button on keyboard to exit). Use the green arrows in the bottom right hand corner of the screen to move through the Awards Ceremony.

Example certificate settings:

To download all stage completion certificates your pupils have earned so far:
Timespan: "All Time"
Certificates selected: "Stage Completion Certificates"

To download stage certificates for stages your pupils have completed in the past week only:
Timespan: "Last 7 Days"
Certificates selected: "Stage Completion Certificates"

To download stage certificates for stages completed since a specific date (e.g. since start of the year):
Timespan: "Custom" (e.g. from 01-01-2022 to today's date)
Certificates selected: "Stage Completion Certificates"

To download certificates for the three pupils with the highest accuracy in Story Mode over the past month:
Timespan: "30 Days"
Certificates selected: "Highest Accuracy"

To download certificates for the three pupils who've shown the most improvement in accuracy over the past month, in comparison with their accuracy the previous month:
Timespan: "30 Days"
Certificates selected: "Most Improved Accuracy"

To download certificates for the three fastest pupils at Number Bonds to 10 and certificates for the three pupils who've shown the most improvement since their first attempt at Number Bonds to 10:
Timespan: "All Time"
Certificates selected: "Highest and Most Improved Number Bonds to 10"

To download certificates for the three pupils who played the most during the school holidays and certificates for the three pupils who showed the most improvement at adding two digit numbers over that time period:
Timespan: "Custom" (e.g. from 18-12-2021 to 04-01-2020)
Certificates selected: "Highest Minutes Played" and "Most Improved Adding Two Digit Numbers"

Footnotes:

* When you include more than one class or yeargroup, "top 3" certificates are only awarded to the top 3 pupils in the entire group - not for each class or yeargroup. (For example, if you selected all yeargroups, it would award the top 3 pupils in the entire school only.) To reward the top three pupils in each class or yeargroup, you'd need to create an individual certificate pack for each group.

** You cannot award improvement certificates for Story Mode and Effort if you select the timespan "All time" or "Custom", as there is no previous timespan to compare the aggregate result against. You can, however, for Challenge as it will compare the pupil's most recent score to their initial score - whenever that was. For "Custom", however, both dates must be in the past.
