Usually, Google Chrome extensions are automatically updated and it may take up to 10 hours to get the update. If you want to make sure you're on the latest version of it, this is a guide for you.
Option 1: Reinstall the Chrome extension
In short, you can trigger an update by reinstalling it.
1. Go to the Tackle Chrome extension page.
2. Click on the "Remove from Chrome" button. No worries, this won't delete any of your data or settings.
3. Now, click on the "Add to Chrome" button again to reinstall the extension. Finally, click on the "Add extension" button in the modal that appears.
Option 2: Update from Chrome extension manager
1. Go to the Chrome extension manager (open a new tab, and enter chrome://extensions in the address bar).
2. Click on the "Developer mode" toggle to enable developer mode.
3. Click on the "Update" button to force update extensions.
4. Now click on the "Developer mode" again to disable developer mode.
Option 3: Restart the browser to force auto-update
1. Close your Google Chrome browser completely by pressing '⌘+Q' on Mac and ‘Control + Q’ on Windows and re-open the Google Chrome browser.
