Tagging recurring events
Updated over 6 months ago

To avoid manual tagging of each event in a series of recurring events, you can simply apply tags and properties you selected once to the entire series. You can do this both in the Tackle application as well as directly in your calendar using the Tackle extension.

Tag events in the Tackle app

1. Go to one of your "Events" pages and apply any tag or property to a recurring event.

2. A message will appear asking if you want to apply the tag to all the recurring events. Click "Yes" to confirm.

4. The selected tags and properties will apply to the entire series of recurring events, and you'll see a success message when it's done.

5. Follow the same process if wish to remove properties from a recurrent event.

Note: If you make any changes to a recurring event, like change time or add people, your properties may be erased. To avoid this, you can set automations.

Tag events in Google calendar using the Tackle Chrome extension

You can also tag recurring events directly in your Google calendar. Please make sure you've installed the Tackle extension to achieve this.

1. Go to Google calendar and apply any tag or property to a recurring event.

2. Once you've added any tag or property, Tackle will ask you if it should apply it to the entire series. Hit "Yes" if you want to confirm this action.
