There could be a few different reasons why Tackle is having trouble accessing Google Calendar:

  1. App updates: Updates to Google Calendar or the Tackle app can sometimes result in changes to permissions, potentially leading to a temporary loss of access.

  2. Token expiration: Authentication tokens that grant access to your Google Calendar data may expire. This could be due to security measures or periodic token refresh requirements.

  3. Account changes: If you've updated your password or changed security settings in your Google account, it may require the app to be reauthorized for continued access.

  4. App permissions revoked: Google sometimes withdraws permissions for third-party apps following policy updates, potentially leading to access issues.

  5. Server Issues: It's very unlikely, but temporary server issues with Google or Tackle app's servers could occasionally disrupt access to Google Calendar.

How to Re-authorize Calendar Permissions for Tackle

To re-authorize your calendar permission within the Tackle app, follow these steps:

  1. Look for a alert requesting calendar permission, similar to the provided screenshot. Click on "Grant Permission."

πŸ’‘ Note: Immediately after logging in, an alert will automatically appear if Tackle loses access to your calendar.

3. You'll be prompted to authorize your login to your Google account. Choose the same email address associated with your Google account.

4. Once you've selected the appropriate Google account, continue allowing permission for access to your calendar's data.

That's it! Your Google account is now authorized with Tackle. You've successfully re-authorized your Google Calendar access within the Tackle app.
