How to change an account owner

At Tackle, each account can have only one owner, who holds the data ownership rights. If you need to change the account owner, follow these steps:

  • Ensure Subscription Transfer: Make sure the new account owner has subscribed to all existing calendars.

  • Disconnect Calendars: The current account owner must disconnect all existing calendars. Here's how to disconnect calendars in Tackle.

  • Reconnect Calendars: The new account owner should reconnect all existing calendars. Here's how to connect calendars in Tackle.

  • Email Support: The current account owner should then send an email to support@timetackle.com, including the email address of the new account owner.

Regarding the existing account owner:

Specify whether to remove them from the combined workspace or change their roles. Please include this information in the same email to support@timetackle.com.

Once we receive the necessary details, we'll manually begin the ownership migration process. Confirmation of completion will be sent via email within 48 hours.

Afterward, we may schedule a short support call to ensure all changes are accurately reflected.
