πŸ”’ Sharing a Device

Why Device Sharing Is Not Allowed

Our platform and its survey partners use advanced technology to identify users based on their device footprint β€” this includes details such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, cookies, time zone, and other unique digital identifiers.

These signals help survey providers ensure that each participant is a genuine, unique individual. When more than one person uses the same device, the system cannot reliably tell accounts apart, and this can cause serious issues for everyone involved.

Problems Caused by Device Sharing

βš™οΈ 1. Limited or No Work Availability

Survey systems are designed to send offers to only one account per device.
If two or more people try to use the same phone, tablet, or computer, only one account may receive available tasks, while the others could see very few β€” or none at all.

Example: Two family members using the same phone may notice that one account continues to receive surveys while the other account suddenly stops. The system is simply unable to assign tasks to both.

🚫 2. Conflicts and Disqualifications

When multiple users log in from the same device or connection, it appears as suspicious or automated activity to our fraud detection systems.
This often triggers automatic disqualifications, temporary holds, or even permanent access restrictions from survey providers.

Example: If you and a friend share the same laptop, the survey provider may detect duplicate fingerprints and block both accounts to protect data accuracy.

βš–οΈ 3. Incorrect Crediting and Data Confusion

When multiple accounts operate on one device, rewards can be misapplied β€” sometimes credited to the wrong account, or not credited at all.
Providers cannot determine which user actually completed the task, and may reject the reward entirely to prevent abuse.

🚨 4. Permanent Account Bans

Repeated device sharing creates ongoing conflicts in the system’s records.
If these patterns continue, survey providers may permanently ban the affected accounts, and in some cases, restrict future participation from that IP address or device ID altogether.

Summary

To ensure fair access, accurate tracking, and secure participation for all users:

  • Each person must use their own dedicated device.

  • Do not share your phone, tablet, or computer with other users for survey access.

  • Avoid using shared public or household devices for multiple accounts.

Sharing a device β€” even unintentionally β€” can prevent you from receiving work, cause your account to lose eligibility, or lead to permanent suspension.

βœ… Best Practice

Always log in to your account from your own personal device and your regular internet connection.
This guarantees that your account remains secure, your activity is recognized as legitimate, and your rewards are correctly credited to you.
