What tools are treated the same as a VPN?

Any tool that hides or changes your real IP address or location is treated the same as a VPN. This includes proxy servers, Smart DNS services, browser-based VPNs or proxy extensions, iCloud Private Relay, TOR, some antivirus or security apps with VPN features, corporate or school networks, and cloud or hosting connections. Because survey advertisers require real, verifiable locations and devices, these tools are not allowed and may result in restrictions.
