Understanding why Negative Points have been awarded

If you’ve noticed negative points appearing on your rewards dashboard, you may be wondering why this has occurred. Most negative points awarded are due to a ChargeBack one of our providers has lodged against a survey or offer you completed in the last 60 days.

What is a ChargeBack?

A ChargeBack is a payment dispute made to the user of a failed survey or offer. The issuer then contacts the merchant (in this case, us) to collect the funds that were initially paid.

What does this mean for me?

When a ChargeBack is issued, it is up to the merchant to investigate and resolve the issue in a timely manner. Since the merchant is liable for the funds that have been reversed, this sometimes results in negative points being automatically awarded on your rewards dashboard as a form of compensation.
