Marking and coloring text

You can create your own markers or text colors and give a meaningful name.

With this new feature, you can now create your own custom text colors and markers.
You can give a meaningful name and define the marker color or text color easily.

Markers are not personal, but are visible and used by the whole team in your project.

How to create a new marker?

  1. Click the Marker button in the text toolbar

  2. Go to Add new marker

  3. Give it a meaningful name

  4. Pick a color. You can choose between text colors or background colors.

  5. Hit CREATE

How to use a marker to color text?

  1. Select the text you want to highlight

  2. Go to the markers and select your marker

How to delete a marker?

  1. Go to Marker

  2. Hover over the marker you want to delete

  3. Hit the trash button to remove it. Make sure this marker is not in use by other team members

Remember: removing a marker does not cause previous applied text mark-up to disappear.

How to edit a marker?

Custom markers are not editable, since they might be in use by other users and could lose their meaning this way. Better is to remove a marker and/or create a new one.

How to clear color mark-up?

  1. Select the text you want to un-color

  2. Go to Marker

  3. Select No color
