Configure expiry on activities in TinQwise Control

Step 1. Go to Behaviour > Automations in TinQwise Control

Step 2. Create a new Automation

Step 3. Give the Automation a name and choose Check periodically

Step 4. Choose the condition(s) to specify for which users the activities will expire. If needed, read the automations article to select the right condition.

Step 5. As action select:

  • Expire activity

    • Activities* = select at least one activity.

    • Completion period = specify the amount of days after which the selected activity(ies) will expire (e.g. 60d if the activity is to expire two months after the user last completed it).

Step 6. Save the automation

You're all set!

Expired activities and badges on the platform

On the learner's side, the activity will give a visual indication if the activity is soon to expire (within 7 days or less)...

...or if the activity is expired.

Badges linked to this activity will also warn the user that they no longer fulfil all the conditions for that badge.
