The Download template is a one-screen explanation that includes files for learners to download. It’s ideal for sharing work instructions, manuals, checklists, and other resources.

πŸ“¦ Why use it?

Use this format to:

  • Provide downloadable support files

  • Share tools for learners to use during or after training

  • Offer quick-reference materials like PDFs or spreadsheets

  • Let learners preview PDFs without downloading (optional)

πŸ› οΈ To create a download activity

  1. Go to Control > Content > Activities

  2. Click New activity and select Download

  3. Add a title, intro text, and upload an image

    • Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF

    • Image appears in the activity and on the activity tile

  4. Click the + to upload your file

  5. Add a file title, size, and format

  6. Optional settings:

    • Hide the image overlay: Removes the dark overlay that helps the close button stand out

    • Make PDF files view-only: Learners can preview PDFs but not download them
