Content guideline for the activity: learning bite

Learning bites are short, focused learning activities that guide learners through a story or process using a mix of engaging templates. Each one automatically includes a Start page (cover) and a Start screen. Then it's up to you what goes in between and what the learning bite ends with!


πŸ” How to create a Learning bite

  1. Go to Control > Content > Activities

  2. Click the New activity button

  3. Select Learning bite from the list


How to assemble your learning bite

  1. Add learning objectives on the Start screen

  2. Insert templates to explain, show, or ask questions

  3. Add an End screen to close the story


βš™οΈ Optional activity settings you can adjust

After creating your Learning bite, open the Settings tab of the learning bite to customize it:

  • Content ID: Set a unique identifier to find your activity in the future

  • Enable grading: Requires a manager to review and grade the activity

  • Social question results: Filter answer displays by group (e.g. Country)

  • Duration: Add an estimated time in minutes

  • Random question sampling: Show a subset of quiz questions randomly (if applicable)

Click Save at the bottom to apply any changes

Here’s a breakdown of templates you can mix into your Learning bite:

🟒 Required templates

These are added by default:

  • Start (cover): Introduces the activity visually

  • Start screen: Ideal for listing learning objectives

  • End screen: Summarizes key takeaways or prompts next steps

Encourage learner reflection or uploads:

  • Range slider

  • Upload file

Reinforce learning with quick checks:

  • MPC (image, text, video, neutral)

  • Ordering quiz

  • Swipe series


βœ… How to preview and publish

  1. Use the Preview button to check how the learning bite would look like for learners

  2. Edit any of the templates directly

  3. When finished, click Publish to make it live

    1. Don't forget to attach to an automation!
