The assignment template helps you measure whether learners can apply and demonstrate new or existing skills. It blends preparation, action, and reflection in a structured flow to support learning by doing.
This format is ideal for coaching, skill verification, or practice-based learning.

Use the assignment template to:
Check if learners can apply skills in real-life situations
Provide prep content before they begin
Guide learners through a step-by-step task
Let them reflect and submit feedback afterward
🛠️ How to create an assignment activity
Go to Control > Content > Activities
Click New activity and select Assignment
Add a title, intro, and optional image
Use the first screen to:
Add steps, with clear action items
Finish with the Reflect screen for learner feedback
🧠 Reflections: how to add survey questions
In the Reflect step, you can add one or more questions to help learners evaluate their experience.
Open question
Question (text only): The prompt learners will answer (used for analytics)
Placeholder (text only): Optional field hint, like “Write your feedback here”
Range slider
Question (text only): What you want learners to rate (e.g. How confident did you feel?)
Min / Max (number): Define the scale range (e.g. 0 to 100)
Step size (number): Set the increments between values (e.g. 10)
Range sections: Divide the scale into labeled ranges for clarity
For each section:Label (text only): Descriptive label (e.g. Not at all or Very much)
Start / End (number)*: Numbers must fall within the overall min/max range

Duration: Estimated completion time (in minutes), shown on the activity tile
