Content guideline for MPC image - right/wrong feedback Template

This MPC template allows learners to pick one or more images as an answer to a question. The feedback to the answer given will be either right or wrong. By default, the answer options will be shown as image only, but it is possible to toggle on ‘include text in answers’.


Setting it up

Below fields can be filled into the Content Builder. Fields with an * are required.

Content ID*
Title of this template, only shown in the content builder.

Image + image alt

Image uploader for JPG, PNG, GIF. + Image description for accessibility purposes (e.g. blind users with a screen reader).

Heading (text only)

A heading that will be shown to the user on the platform.

Description

Here, you can include a text that could provide more information to the learner before asking the question.

MPC question

Question*

A text that should also include the question.

Show instructions (checkbox)
Ticking this box will show an extra line of instructions (i.e. ‘Select the correct answer’) below the text.

Question for analytics (text only)*
A concise version of the question. Used in analytics and invisible to the user.

Checkbox: Multi select
Ticking this box allows the user to select multiple answers.

Checkbox: Include text in answers
By ticking this checkbox you indicate that per answer option the texts are shown below the images. When left unchecked, the MPC options will show images only.

Answer options

Create two or more answer options from which the learner can choose the correct answer(s). Each item consists of the following:

  • Option* (text only): A text description of the answer option. If the checkbox “Include text in answers” is enabled, this text will show below the image. Also used in analytics.

  • Is correct (checkbox): Indicates if the answer option is correct.

  • Image* + image alt: Image uploader for JPG, PNG, GIF. + Image description for accessibility purposes (e.g. blind users with a screen reader).

Feedback

This template supports correct and incorrect feedback. Each type of feedback needs:

  • Title (text only): A title for the feedback text.

  • Text (rich text)*: A descriptive text that supports bulleted and numbered lists, hyperlinks, bold and italic texts.
