Content Guideline for the Break Template

The Break template consists of a short text and an (optional) image that is meant to break up the text or make it less monotone. It can, for instance, be suitable for including a quote or a shout-out, a reflective question, or an encouragement to the learner.


Setting it up

Below fields are present within this template. They can be found in the content builder. Fields with an * are required.

Content ID*

Name of this template, only shown in the content builder and invisible to the learner.

Text animation (checkbox)

Ticking this box will animate the text on top of the image.

Image uploader for JPG, PNG, GIF.

Hide the image overlay (checkbox)

The image has a dark overlay to increase readability of the text. Disabling this checkbox will disable the overlay. Please note that disabling this might reduce readability.

Use white texts (checkbox)

Change texts to white so they are more legible on top of a dark image.

Heading (text only)

A simple text that will be shown on top of the image. To address the user personally, you can use {{name}} inside the text. The name will be displayed in this spot.
