Ask learners a question and let them answer by adjusting a slider. You can provide feedback after they answer, and show responses from other learners on the results page.
Setting it up
Image
Upload an optional image (JPG, PNG or GIF) to display at the top of the template. Add an alt text to describe the image for accessibility purposes.
Heading and description
Add a heading and an optional description to introduce the question. The description supports bold, italic, bulleted and numbered lists.
Range slider
This is where you configure the slider itself. All fields marked with * are required.
Question* — the question shown to the learner and used in analytics.
Start label* — the label shown at the left end of the slider (e.g. "Not at all").
Start value* — the number at the left end of the slider, used in analytics (e.g. 0).
End label* — the label shown at the right end of the slider (e.g. "Totally").
End value* — the number at the right end of the slider, used in analytics (e.g. 100).
Step size* — how much the slider moves per step (default: 1). Increase this to reduce the number of possible positions.
Initial slider position* — where the slider handle starts when the learner first sees the question. Options are Start, Middle and End.
Feedback
Add an optional feedback message shown to the learner after they submit their answer.
Title* — a short title for the feedback.
Text* — the feedback body. Supports bold, italic, bulleted and numbered lists.
