The mood survey checks in on how the user is doing. It can be triggered through certain conditions, such as time (e.g. two weeks after the user’s start date) or activity completion (e.g. after finishing 25% and 50% of all activities). It shows up as a popup when the user visits the Discovery Stream. Note: the mood survey is set to completed once the user has filled it out and it won't appear again unless you create an automation for repetition.
The survey starts with an intro page and a mood question. After this you can add any number of open questions, scale questions, multiple choice questions or other mood questions. There’s an option to ask the user for platform feedback at the end of the survey.
How to create a Mood survey:
Go to Content Builder, create a child page with the Social challenge learning format, and fill in the fields.
Fields in the Content Builder
Content ID* = A unique identifier for the mood survey. Only shown in the content builder.
Intro
Here you can upload media (maximum of one image or one video) that is shown on the start page.
Image* = Image uploader for JPG, PNG, GIF.
Heading (text only)* = A heading that will be shown in the frontend.
Text (rich text)* = A body text that supports bulleted or numbered lists, hyperlinks, bold and italic texts.
Overall mood = A question with predefined answers that can be answered with smileys ranging from sad to happy.
Question (text only)* = The question text. E.g. ‘How was your week?’.

Question (text only)* = The question text.
Placeholder = Add a placeholder for the input field.
MPC text =This is a neutral multiple choice question for the purpose of reflection or feedback, meaning that it has no correct or incorrect answer.

Options = Add two or more answer options (see below).
Option (text only)* = The option text.
MPC mood = A question with predefined answers that can be answered with smileys ranging from sad to happy. It is the same as the overall mood question but can be more specific.

MPC scale = A question with predefined answers that can be answered on a scale from 1 to 5.

Add the Mood surveys to the Discovery stream as a widget
Create a widget in the Discovery Stream per Mood survey and add the Mood survey activity.
The widget will allow the Mood survey to be accessible by the participants without making it visible in the discovery stream.
