Setting up Intro and Intake in your platform

The Intro and Intake are pages you can welcome your learner when they first visit your platform.

  • The Intro consists of a few slides to introduce the platform to your learner. This is the place where you can highlight certain features you want your users to know and give a short general introduction.

  • In the Intake, you can ask your learner to fill in profile details, such as a profile photo or contract start date.


Set up Automations for your Intro and Intakes πŸ€“

It is possible to create one or more Intros/Intakes. You can also show a different intro/intake per user group through TinQwise Control and the Automations engine.

Set up automations if you have multiple intros/intakes and differentiate between groups.

For example, you can create an automation for learners in a specific group to see the intake. To create this automation:

Step 1. Go to the TinQwise Control.

Step 2. Click on Behaviour and navigate to the Automations tab.

Step 3. Create a new automation, event type: User registered

Step 4. Set up the condition you need. For example, "Is group" > select the targeted group.

This condition will allow the automation to be applied only for the specific group you choose.
​Step 5. Add the action: "Unlock intake/intro". Find the Intro/Intake from the dropdown menu.

Press save.

Step 6. Save and activate your automation.
