The developments are pouring like the rain in the Netherlands 🌦️

This release, we especially focused on improving LTI progress data and the group structure. See what is released:

  • A new format,

  • A change in the LTI progress protocol,

  • Group structure

1. New Audio Format πŸ”Š

Another release, another new format! πŸ”₯ This is the third release in a row with a new format.

Use this format to share podcasts, music, narration, or any other sound format to enhance learning effectiveness. In this format, you can add an URL, upload or embed an audio file.

2. More frequent updates on LTI module progress πŸ”„

Learning progress is one of the essential data to monitor the performance of your users as well the performance of the content itself.

We used to send the progress information of LTI modules only after the module was 100% completed, which was not convenient for monitoring the latest learning progress.

We changed this process to send progress data more frequently. Every time we update the progress in TinQwise LXP, we also share the data to the external system that provided the LTI module. With this update, you can monitor users' most up-to-date progress of LTI modules.

3. Organised Group Structure

The group structure is used to differentiate content and organise reporting, enabling more effective automations and providing consistency with the organisational structure. It is foremost important to keep an organised group structure in LXP.

In this release, we emphasize improving the group structure to make it easier for you to manage and monitor.

  1. Group details

We changed the remove button of the indirect users. It is now easier to identify direct and indirect members of groups. Indirect users can only be removed from the group that they are a direct member of.

For example, users who are in the "Country" parent group are direct members of one of the two sub-groups of "Belgium" and "The Netherlands" and indirect members of the "Country" group. These users can be removed from the sub-groups that they are a direct member of but not from the "Country" parent group.

  2. User profile

On profile, the groups are organized in the same way as in structure. You can quickly see which parent and sub-groups the user is a member of and remove a user from a group directly from their profile.

  3. Imported groups

It was always a hustle to manage imported and manually create groups in the structure. This will no longer be an issue. The imported groups now have a "From user importer" sign right next to the group title.
