The audio format is a single-screen activity where learners must listen to an audio file to finish the session. It’s ideal for podcasts, guided instructions, meditations, or any voice-led experience.

πŸ“ Why use the audio format?

Use this format to:

  • Deliver meditations, music, or voice recordings

  • Share podcasts or audio stories (for example, stories on the floor)

  • Let learners focus on listening without reading text

  • Support different learning styles (especially audio learners)

πŸ› οΈ To create an audio activity

  1. Go to Content > Activities > and create a new activity

  2. Select the Audio format

  3. Add a title, intro text, and upload an image

Supported image formats:

  • JPG

  • PNG

  • GIF

πŸ” The image appears at the top of the activity and on the activity tile.

πŸ”Š Choose your audio source

In Studio, select one of the following audio sources from the dropdown:

  • Audio upload: Upload an MP3 file

  • Audio URL: Paste a direct link to an audio file

  • Audio embed: Paste an embed code (Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music)

Optional settings

Hide the image overlay: Removes the dark gradient displayed over the image

πŸ’‘ Tip:

Use this option if your image already has enough contrast for text readability.
