Tito integrates with Stripe and PayPal.

Stripe

Stripe supports processing payments in 135+ currencies, depending on your location. Check out Stripe’s currency page for more information.

We integrate with Stripe using their Connect platform. After you set up a Stripe account, it’s a one click integration. We also have a beta integration with Stripe Elements. Contact us for early access.

PayPal

PayPal is available in more than 200 countries/regions and supports 25 currencies. Check out PayPal's global markets page for more information.

We integrate with PayPal using their Permissions API and their Express Checkout Integration. Occasionally, PayPal’s permissions API requires several attempts to connect.

Connecting to Tito

First, you need to register an account with your chosen payment gateway. You can do that for Stripe here, and PayPal here. Now you will be able to connect your account to Tito. You can connect to either of these payment gateways at both account and event level.

Payment methods connected at event level will be saved to your account for future use on other events. If you add a method at account level, you will need to ensure it is selected within your event under Settings > Money.

Adding a payment option to an event

Click on Settings in the sidebar, and then on Money. From here you'll be able to add and control payment options and set your event currency (note this cannot be changed once you start selling tickets).

Adding a payment option to an account

Click on your account name which you'll see in the breadcrumb at the top of your Tito event, then click Account Settings  and then on Payment Options. From here you can connect a payment option. Choose the provider you’d like to add, hit the connect button, and follow the instructions on-screen.

Putting through test Stripe transactions

Tito's Stripe integration allows for you to simulate payments in test mode using Stripe's test cards. See a full list of card numbers here. Use any 3 digit number for the CVC, any future date for the expiry, and any correctly formatted postcode or ZIP code for the region.

Troubleshooting failed payments

As the payments are handled by the payment processor rather than by Tito, you will need to log in to the relevant dashboard to view details about failed transactions.
