How to get started with tl;dv for Notion

Using Notion to take meeting notes? You are going to love this!

Updated this week

tl;dv for Notion enables you to instantly link your Notion meeting notes, to the exact moment in your tl;dv! This is done through the tl;dv widget which will automatically pop up when you open a Notion document while recording your meeting.

Turn your pre-existing notes into highlights

Many of you have a list of pre-existing notes or meeting agenda already written in Notion — you can turn these into timestamped highlights with one click only 🤯

To do this, simply hover any text you'd like to convert into a highlight and click the green push-pin!

Highlight-as-you-type

Simply start typing. Your new note automatically syncs to the exact moment the meeting you're recording with tl;dv.

You can turn off this feature by clicking the power button or using the ⌘; shortcut in the tl;dv widget.

Want to take this to the next level?

Here are some tips on how to leverage this integration to it's full potential 🚀

Have a meeting template ready!

Whether you're conducting a candidate interview, user research call, or a sprint planning meeting, a meeting template will make it easier to remain focused during your meeting while timestamping key meeting moments.

Switch between Notion pages

Some of our users like to write personal notes during their meetings and still have these moments timestamped. No biggie! Feel free to switch Notion pages as much as you like as we automatically detected which page you're in and highlight all your notes. This works on public and private Notion pages.

Pssst: which platform should we add next? Jira? Hubspot? We're all ears. Let us know your thoughts on our integrations page 💡
