Can I generate a discount report that shows what items were discounted?
How do I export a list of all discounted items?
Answer
You can view all discounted item sales using the new PMIX report.
In Toast Web, navigate to Reports > Menus > Product Mix. If you see a banner at the top of the page, make sure you switch to the new version of the PMIX report.
Select your desired time range for the report.
Open the Menu hierarchy drop-down and make sure that only Items are selected.
Select the Columns button at the top of the report and make sure that Discounts is checked.
Your PMIX report will now display all item sales, including discount amounts. You can export this report by selecting the download (down arrow) icon in the top right corner of the page.
If you want to see a report that includes discount reasons, follow these steps:
Navigate to Reports > Cash and loss management > Discounts report.
Scroll down until you see the All Discounted Orders table.
Open the Show/hide columns drop-down and make sure Discount Name, Discount Reason, and Discount Amount are all checked off.
You can select any order on this report to open the Order details screen and see which items were included in the order.
