Fees and Transaction Limits
Does my Toast Checking Debit Mastercard have fees?
There are no monthly fees to use your Toast Checking Debit Mastercard. Withdrawing at an Allpoint ATM has no ATM surcharge fee, but there may be a fee when withdrawing from an out-of-network ATM. ATM fees are third-party fees assessed by the individual ATM operator only and are not assessed or controlled by Toast.
There are no fees when depositing cash at Allpoint+ ATMs. Adding cash at the register of a retail store has a service fee of up to $4.95, and limits on how much cash you can add at a retailer may apply.

You can track your Toast Checking Debit Mastercard activity on your Toast Checking dashboard. Navigate to your primary Toast Checking account and select the three dots ( ⋮ ) to view your Account Activity. Transactions may take a few business days to post to your account.
Can I overdraft my Toast Checking Debit Mastercard?
No, you cannot overdraft your Toast Checking Debit Mastercard, because Toast doesn't currently offer overdraft protection. If you attempt a transaction for more money than you have in your primary Toast Checking account, the transaction will be declined. Funds will not be automatically pulled from any Jars to cover a transaction, so a transaction will be declined if your primary Toast Checking account has insufficient funds.
In some cases your balance can still become negative. Because of the timing of when approved debit card transactions settle (when the money is actually sent to the person you purchased from), a transaction that was already approved cannot be stopped, and you are responsible for repaying any negative balance that results. How do I request a stop payment for recurring payments on my Toast Checking Debit Mastercard?
To request a stop payment on a recurring card payment, email toastchecking@toasttab.com at least three business days before the next payment is scheduled. Include the following:
Your name
Your account number
The company or person taking the payments
The date and amount of the scheduled payment you want to stop

My Toast Checking Debit Mastercard isn't working. What can I do?
If your Toast Checking Debit Mastercard isn't working, the cause depends on what's happening:
If the transaction was declined, confirm your primary Toast Checking account has enough funds, because Toast doesn't offer overdraft protection and won't pull from your Jars to cover a transaction.
If the card is new, confirm you have activated it and set your PIN by navigating in Toast Web to Finance > Toast Checking.
If the card is frozen, unfreeze it from your Toast Checking dashboard under Manage Card.
If your card is locked after too many incorrect PIN attempts, email toastchecking@toasttab.com.

To report an error or dispute a transaction on your Toast Checking Debit Mastercard, call (855) 333-1725 with questions about the transaction. Contact Toast immediately if you believe an error or unauthorized transaction has occurred or may occur. You must contact Toast no later than 30 days after the first statement on which the suspected error or unauthorized transaction appeared.
