Toast Web Updates Not Appearing on POS

  • Why can't the new employee that I added sign into the POS with their passcode?

  • I removed a job from ToastWeb, but it still appears on the POS when signing in.

  • I added a job to an employee's account, but the job doesn't show up when logging in to the POS. What do I do?

If updates you made in Toast Web are not appearing on the POS, this is likely a syncing issue that is typically fixed either with a Log Cycle, or by Resyncing All Data.

First, try a log cycle. To do this:

  1. Navigate to the passcode screen on your Toast POS.

  2. Select the three dots in the top right corner.

  3. Select Logout.

  4. Once you have logged out, log back in. To learn more, see Log in to a Toast Product or Device.

If you still do not see your changes, the next step is to resync all data, but this should only be done if the device is online. If your device is offline, do not attempt a resync, and call Customer Care for further assistance.
