How do I use my Toast Checking Account for Toast Payroll?
Contact Toast Payroll and let them know you’d like to use your Toast Checking Account or Toast Checking Jars as your payroll funding source. Provide your routing and account number for the account or Jar you want to use. Once set up, your payroll will process from your Toast Checking Account or Toast Checking Jars.
Can I deposit checks into my Toast Checking account?
At this time, no, Toast Checking does not support check deposits.
How does Toast Payroll Check Writing work?
Just like any other checking account that allows check writing, you can now use the Toast Checking Account or Toast Checking Account Jars as a funding source for Toast Payroll.
Contact Toast Payroll with the routing and transit number of the Toast Checking Account or Toast Checking Account Jars, you wish to use as a funding source for Toast Payroll. They will help you set up your Toast Checking Account as your funding source.
Do I need to register checks issued from Toast Payroll?
No. Checks issued directly through Toast Payroll are automatically registered and validated. You do not need to manually register these checks.
Are there any limits for Toast Payroll Check Writing?
Yes. Toast Payroll checks are subject to the daily and monthly check-writing limits for the Toast Checking account or Jar used as your payroll funding source:
Daily limit: $25,000
Monthly limit: $100,000
Checks of $25,000 or more require manual review before payment (typically completed the same business day).
Can I place a stop payment on a check issued through Toast Payroll?
To request a stop payment on a check, please email toastchecking@toasttab.com or call (617) 468-5542 (Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. ET).
Stop payment requests remain active for up to one year, unless you cancel the request earlier. Toast Checking does not charge a fee for stop payment requests.
