Key Features
My Wine Guide’s SommOne platform includes a patented ability to parse and machine-read the complex text associated with wine data. This patented technology enables integrations with Toast wine menu data in minutes, and most importantly, enables SommOne to read an operator’s Toast POS wine and beverage data as is, avoiding any menu re-configurations or adjustments. With SommOne, Toast customers enter and maintain their wine and beverage data in their Toast menu system while SommOne extracts the various elements needed to create a full-featured, informative digital experience or printed PDF file for the restaurant operator.
Toast customers using our SommOne integration can rely on Toast as their single source of truth for wine and beverage data. They avoid the duplicate data entry and maintenance associated with separate wine lists and beverage menu creation tools. The process is the same if the operator chooses a digital or printed or hybrid approach for their wine and beverage menus.

Integration Setup & Onboarding: My Wine Guide
To complete the integration, please follow the steps listed below:
To enable My Wine Guide with Toast, log into Toast Web and navigate to Integrations > Integrations management > Browse & purchase integrations.
Enter My Wine Guide in the Search field and select Add Now.
Review the data scope visibility terms and conditions, and select Confirm to accept. See the Data Scope Visibility article for more information.
Onboard With My Wine Guide
Once My Wine Guide receives access to your Toast data, the following steps will take place:
My Wine Guide will read your Toast menu item data, both wine and beverages and match all items against My Wine Guide’s Master Database and verify that we have the complete wine and beverage list for your menus.
My Wine Guide will verify the data to ensure that brand/producer names, prices, vintages, and quantities are accurate and ready for your menu presentation.
My Wine Guide will provide a URL for your web-based application and menu presentation as well as access to My Wine Guide’s SommOne Customer Portal.
Steps #1 - #3 should take two to four business days.
My Wine will review the application and SommOne Portal content and capabilities with you and make changes and updates based on customer feedback.
My Wine Guide will provide the link, as well as a QR Code to the production-ready application version, and assist you with any setup on tablets/iPads and your website.
