Backbar Integration Overview

The Backbar integration gives restaurants and bars the power to track inventory in real time, and get a better view of financial performance. Toast sales data is combined with Backbar purchasing and inventory data to provide a complete picture. You can see profits by item, recipe, or category or view inventory variance that compares what was sold in Toast vs. what was used to make decisions that build profits. Restaurants can always see exactly what they have on hand to make weekly ordering across their many alcohol vendors much faster, easier, and more accurate.

Enable BackBar With Toast

  1. To enable Backbar with Toast, log into Toast Web and navigate to Integrations > Integrations management > Browse & purchase integrations.

  2. Enter Backbar in the Search field and select Add Now. Note: Your restaurant must have access to Toast Partner Integrations to add this integration. To learn more, see Set Up Toast Partner Integrations.

  3. Review the data scope visibility terms and conditions, and select Confirm to accept. See the Data Scope Visibility article for more information.

  4. After you confirm your integration in Toast Web, you can complete onboarding by logging into or creating a new Backbar account. Sign up through the Backbar website or mobile app here: https://www.getBackbar.com. Setting up can take up to 30 minutes to complete.

Troubleshooting & Support for the Backbar Integration

For troubleshooting and support, Backbar for any issues with their Backbar integration, unrelated to Toast products (software or hardware) or network/connection issues. For any Backbar questions or support issues, customers should email support@backbar.com, from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. EST, seven days a week.
