Why is my inventory/stock showing different numbers on my devices or in Toast Web?

Answer

There are a couple of different places where your inventory count can be adjusted:

If you notice that item counts are not updated on terminals:

  • Check to make sure any changes made in Toast Web were published.

  • Check that your device synced properly if you edited count using Quick Edit mode.

Also, if you've made menu edits recently - check that you didn't unintentionally deep copy your menu item. Deep copying creates an independent copy of a menu item, so if you update the count of the original item it will not affect the count of the copied item.
