Answer

Screen-sharing is supported on various Toast platforms and apps, making it easier for Customer Care representatives to assist you efficiently.

To share your screen on the Toast Now app with a Customer Care representative, follow these steps:

  1. In the Toast Now app, select Account > Share your screen with support. Alternatively, you can navigate to the bottom of the page and select Start Screen Share.

  2. Select Accept.

  3. A four-digit code will appear on your device. Share this code with the Customer Care representative so that they can see your Toast Now screen. If the Start Screen Share option isn't showing, try restarting the Toast Now app. For security purposes, do not share your screen-sharing code with anyone other than the authorized support representative. If the initial connection fails, you may need to generate a new code and share it with the representative.

To share your screen from a POS device:

  1. Enter your POS access code if prompted.

  2. Navigate from the current screen to the main menu by selecting the arrow in the top left corner or using the back option.

  3. On the main screen, look for sections like Quick Order or Table Service. Scroll all the way to the bottom.

  4. Select Share Your Screen.

  5. If a code is generated, share it with the support representative to initiate the connection.

To share your screen from a payment terminal:

  1. Access the Toast POS system and navigate to the main menu by selecting the back button in the top left.

  2. Scroll down to the Support section and select Share My Screen.

  3. Provide the screen-sharing code displayed to the agent assisting you.
