Answer
If you have a specific modifier that isn't showing up on the POS, it may be due to any of the following reasons:
Your modifier may be hidden. Modifiers (like all menu entities) need to be set to Visible to POS in order to appear on your device. To check your menu visibility setting, follow these steps:
Navigate to Menus > Bulk management > Advanced properties in Toast Web.
Open the Show/Hide drop-down and make sure Visible To is selected.
Use the carets (>) to expand your menus and groups until you find the modifier in question.
Ensure that POS is selected on the Visible To drop-down for the modifier in question.
If it isn't, then select POS from the drop-down menu. Save and publish your changes.
If it's already selected, uncheck POS, save and publish, then reselect it. Save and publish your changes.
Your menu changes may have not been published. You may also encounter this issue if you have failed to publish your changes. To resolve this, navigate to Menus > Bulk management > Advanced properties. Then, select Save and Publish.
Modifiers and modifier groups may have been set up incorrectly. Modifiers may not show up on your POS if they have not been configured correctly. To review your modifiers and modifier groups configuration, follow these steps:
In Toast Web, navigate to Menus > Bulk management > Advanced properties.
Select the drop-down arrows on menus and nenu groups until you see the group or item where you are expecting to see your modifier,
Select your item name from the list.
Scroll down to Modifier Groups and review your modifier settings.
