Some of my items are sold in large quantities or fractional quantities. How do I make my POS ask for the number of an item that a guest is ordering?

You can select the Prompt for Quantity setting for any menu item or modifier by following these steps:

In Toast Web, navigate to Menus and then navigate to the specific menu item or modifier that you'd like to edit.
Under the Properties section of the item details page, toggle the Prompt for Quantity setting to Yes.
Save and publish changes.

If prompt for quantity is not working on your device, try these troubleshooting steps:

Navigate to your menu item and confirm that Prompt for Quantity is set to Yes.
Confirm that all changes have been saved and published.
