If you're having trouble signing in, follow these steps.

  1. Select the Forgot Username link on the TOEFL® Access sign-in page.

  2. Enter the email address associated with your account.

  3. Your username will be emailed to that address.

Password

  1. Select the Forgot Password link on the TOEFL Access sign-in page.

  2. Enter your information. There are few options:

  • If you're an ETS Data Manager user, you may enter your username.

  • Other users, you may enter your email address.

  • All users may enter a telephone number.

3. Your username will be to the email address associated with TOEFL Access.

Other Issues

If you face TOEFL Access sign-in issues and receive an error message such as "You are not authorized to access the requested application/page with the ID you are currently signed-in as," follow these steps:

  • Check whether your username includes ExtSys in the prefix. If so, this is a server-to-server account that is solely intended to manage integrations with TOEFL Access.

  • To login to TOEFL Access, you'll need to contact the administrator of your institution and ask them to add you to the account by navigating to the Manage Users under the profile dropdown.

  • Once added, an invitation is sent to your inbox, which must be accepted within 24 hours.
