View and Navigate Applicants' Score Reports

There are two ways to view an applicant’s score report: select Quick View or select the student's name from the list of applicants.

Select Quick View

Quick View provides a snapshot of the applicant's scores.

  • Displays the applicant’s total scores, section scores, and MyBest™ Scores.

  • If a user’s scores were canceled, the following message is shown: “Scores were canceled by ETS.” If the test was taken after April 2024, the reason for the cancelation will also be provided.

Select Student’s Name

When you select an applicants’ name, the following information is displayed.

Header Section

  • Details Displayed: Picture, name, and address.

  • Expanded View shows:

    • Email

    • Gender

    • Appointment ID

    • Test Mode

    • ID Type

    • DOB (Date of Birth)

    • Native Language

    • Test Type (TOEFL iBT® or TOEFL® Essentials™)

    • Test Center Country

    • ID (last 4 digits)

  • Select Hide Student Details to conceal these details.

Tabbed Information

Tabbed information provides assessment results, links to applicant performance samples, and explanations of the score validity period.

Assessment Results: Includes an applicants’ total score, section scores, and MyBest scores.

  • MyBest scores include the total best score out of 120 as well as an applicant’s highest scores for each section from all of their valid TOEFL iBT® tests taken in the last 2 years.

Samples: For TOEFL iBT, you can review Speaking and Writing samples. In addition, for TOEFL Essentials, you can watch an applicant’s personal statement and see their Foundational skills percentiles. Refer to the TOEFL Samples, Personal Statement, and Skills Percentiles article for more information.

Demographics: Currently in development.

Validity: Briefly explains the reason for a two-year validity period for TOEFL scores.
