Understanding Score Reports After January 21, 2026

Written by Somansh Agrawal

To ease the transition for both institutions and students, we will be providing three scores on every score report through January 2028:

  1. CEFR level

  2. 1-6 overall and section scores

  3. A comparable 0-120 overall score estimate

How the Comparable 0-120 Score Estimate Works

This comparable total score represents the midpoint value of the equivalent range on the 0-120 scale.

Example: A score of 4.5 will be accompanied by a 90 as an estimated value on the 0-120 scale. This reference point is the most reliable estimate of comparable performance across the score scales.

Important Note

The comparable 0-120 score is provided for reference only. Admissions decisions should be based on the 1-6 scale scores and your updated requirements.

Note: This is a tentative version of the score report and may see modest changes before January 21, 2026.
