Exporting your drawings as a PDF is the perfect way to share your takeoff work with team members, clients, or other stakeholders who don’t have access to Togal.AI. The exported PDF will show the drawing with all your takeoffs and annotations visually overlaid.
How to Export to PDF
Click the Export PDF button
in the top-right corner.
Choose from the two export options:
Export current drawing (Quick Snapshot): Immediately downloads a PDF of the drawing currently shown on screen.
Open regular export modal: Opens the Export PDF menu, where you can select multiple drawings and export them as a batch.
To Export Multiple Drawings
Choose Open regular export modal.
In the Export PDF window, select the drawings you want to download, then click Download selected pages.
To control what appears on the PDF, use the visibility (eye) icons in the Quantities Panel to show or hide the classifications you want to include before exporting.
Click Download selected pages to generate the PDF. You’ll see the preparation progress in the bottom-right corner. When the PDF is ready, you’ll receive a notification in the same area—click it to download immediately, or open the Notification Center to download it later.
Tips:
If you have "Show legend" checked in your settings, the legend will show in the PDF you download.
For best viewing result, open the PDF in a dedicated PDF viewer (e.g., Adobe Acrobat) rather than in Chrome.
