Yes, you can have the item show SOLD OUT by selecting the option in the Location Admin page.
Login to OrderCloud
Select Manage Stores
Select the Location
Select the Admin tab
Under the Menu Management section activate 86d items Display as SOLD OUT
unavailable, sold out
