Sometimes, it's tough to convince your seller that their ideal asking price is too high.

Then just broadcast your property with the seller's ideal price to local top 10% agents.
Within 24 hours, you’ll get a report from TAN that shows how the property performed. Here's a sample report:
If you get lots of opens (and you will), but zero responses, that's a good indication their home is priced too high.
And then you’ll have objective, third-party data you can show your client to help them realize their asking price isn't going to fly.
Just send them the report with a note that says:
Hundreds of the top agents saw your property. No response though. Do you want to chat about adjusting the price before going on the MLS?
That way, we're the ones delivering the bad news to your seller.
