Get the TAN emails that matter to you

Now you have more control over which TAN broadcast emails you get, including the ability to select locations, price range and more.

Custom email notification settings allow you to tailor the TAN emails that come into your inbox so you get exactly what you want to see.

This feature is only available to members with a Pro membership.


Narrow the TAN emails to only the areas or price ranges you do business.

Top agents get too many emails. And sometimes the activity in a TAN chapter can be overwhelming, particularly when the broadcast properties, buyer needs and rentals are not in areas, property types or price ranges that your work.

Up until now, you only had two options: get all broadcasts in your chapter, or turn them off and only get matches for the properties, buyer needs or rentals you have active on TAN.

But many agents want to get all the broadcasts they are interested in (as opposed to only getting highly targeted matches based on the buyer needs and properties you add to TAN). Sometimes you want to monitor all activity in the locations and/or prices ranges you work.



See activity outside of your chapter

We know that many agents do business in areas that expand outside TAN's traditional chapter geography. Matching connects top agents across a region on their haves and wants. But in addition to matching, there is a need to stay on top of all TAN activity for the areas you do business in. With custom email notification settings, you can choose all the locations for the broadcast emails you receive.

One thing to note: You'll always get emails that match your clients entered on TAN, regardless of how you set your custom email notifications. You don't have to worry about missing something if you have a client outside your regular work area, as long as you add your client to TAN.


Here's how to tailor the TAN emails you receive:


Email notifications can be managed in your Account Settings.

To do so, navigate to the top right corner of your account and click on your name. In the drop down menu, select “Account Settings.”

Now, on the left hand side of the Account Settings page, make sure you are in the “Email Notifications” section:

For properties, rental properties, buyer needs and rental needs you now have 3 options.

1) All broadcasts in your chapter areas (this is the default)

2) Only broadcasts that match your entered clients

3) Broadcasts that match the filters you set

When you choose to set custom email notifications, you'll be able to choose minimum and maximum price, property types, and areas (select an entire county, city or drill down into neighborhoods or zip codes if you wish):

There will also be an option to choose whether you receive updates on properties that are on the MLS.

And for other broadcast messages sent on TAN (Services provider recommendations, Need agent in another market, Industry discussion and Miscellaneous categories), you can select to turn emails off. Coming soon we will have the ability to turn off by category, too.

And remember, custom email notification settings have no impact to matching. You'll always get emails that match your clients. You don't have to worry about missing anything if you have a client outside your regular work area, as long as you've added the client to TAN.
