All properties, buyer needs, rentals and rental needs are active on TAN for a period of time unless renewed.

  • Broadcast properties and rentals are active on TAN and available for matching for 14 days.

  • Quiet sellers are active on TAN and available for matching for 90 days.

  • Buyer needs are also active and available for matching for 90 days.

The Active TAN status expires after this time unless it is renewed. You will receive an email to remind you right before the property or buyer need expires, so you can renew with just a couple clicks.

To remove properties and buyer needs from matching temporarily, there is a Withdrawn TAN status. While marked Withdrawn, properties and buyer needs will not receive new matches. (Note: If a property goes on the MLS, you do not need to mark it Withdrawn. The on-MLS date will make it clear whether the property has gone on the MLS or not.)

You can easily change the TAN status back to Active when you want it to match on TAN again.

You are also able to change the TAN status for properties and buyer needs to Sold/Purchased or Under Contract, which removes them from matching.

You can manage the TAN status of your properties and buyer needs by navigating to your Dashboard and clicking the three dots to the right of the client.

Once you click on the 3 dots you will see a menu box. Click on “Change TAN Status.”

Once you’ve clicked on “Change TAN Status” a box will open up where you can choose the correct status for your property or buyer need.

Depending on which option you choose, you will have an option to write in comments. The new TAN status and your comments will show on existing matches.

Here is how 'TAN status' displays on your Dashboard.
