At Top One Futures, we allow traders to operate multiple accounts simultaneously to maximize their trading opportunities and strategy diversity. However, to ensure risk control, platform integrity, and fairness across the trading community, there are strict limits on the number of active funded accounts you can have at any one time.
Below is a complete explanation of how these rules work and what they mean for you as a trader.
โ How Many Accounts Can I Have?
Each trader is allowed to have up to 8 active funded accounts at the same time. This includes:
A maximum of 3 Sim Funded accounts, which can be any combination of Elite Sim Funded or Instant Sim Funded accounts, regardless of account size.
Plus, up to 5 STF Pro accounts in addition to the Sim Funded accounts.
You can mix and match account types and sizes within these limitsโbut you may not exceed the total funded account thresholds under any circumstances.
โ ๏ธ Note: The 3-account limit applies only to Sim Funded Accounts (Elite or Instant). You may have as many active Elite Challenges as you like, and STF Pro accounts have their own separate 5-account limit.
๐ก Special Promotions: During select promotions, traders may be allowed to trade more than 5 STF Pro accounts. This applies only to STF Pro accounts purchased during the promotional period.
๐ Can I Mix Different Account Sizes and Types?
Yes! You have complete flexibility in choosing account types and sizes. For example:
โ 3 Elite/Instant Sim Funded accounts (any combination of account types and sizes)
โ
Plus 5 STF Pro accounts (any sizes you choose)
You can manage any combination within these limitsโbut you may not exceed the account thresholds under any circumstances.
๐ซ Can I Open More Than the Maximum Allowed Accounts?
No. If you wish to activate additional accounts beyond these limits, you would first need to request Support to pause or close an existing account.
Attempting to activate a 4th Elite/Instant funded account (beyond the 3 allowed) or a 6th STF Pro account (beyond the 5 allowed) may result in the oldest active account being breached, and no refund will be issued in that case.
These rules are enforced automatically by our system and are not subject to appeal.
๐ Can I Open a New Account After Closing One?
Yes! If you close or breach an existing account and are then left with fewer than your allowed maximums (3 Elite/Instant or 5 STF Pro), you are free to purchase or activate a new oneโas long as you stay within the limits.
๐ Can I Merge My Accounts?
At this time, Top One Futures does not allow account merging. Each account operates independently, and there is no functionality to combine balances, equity, or performance history between accounts.
However, you are permitted to copy your own trades manually across your three accounts if you wish to maintain consistency across them.
๐ Where Can I Check My Active Accounts?
You can view all of your active accounts by logging into your Top One Futures Trader Dashboard. This dashboard will display:
All current account IDs
Their stage (Challenge, Verification, or Funded)
Their status (Active, Breached, Closed)
Performance metrics and key details
It is your responsibility to monitor your active account count to ensure compliance with these limits.
๐ Household Limit
In addition to the per-trader limits, please note that there is also a household limit for funded accounts:
A maximum of 3 Elite/Instant Sim Funded accounts per household.
A maximum of 5 STF Pro accounts per household.
This means no more than three Elite/Instant funded accounts and no more than five STF Pro accounts can be active within the same household, even if they belong to different individuals.
These limits help us maintain fairness and prevent abuse through mass account stacking.
โ Why Do These Rules Exist?
These account limits help ensure:
Fairness across all traders
Transparency in trading activity
Risk containment across the platform
Prevention of excessive multi-account manipulation (e.g., rolling/churning strategies)
We want to provide flexibility for scaling while preserving the integrity of our ecosystem for serious traders.
