How to adjust your Daily Loss Limit in R|Trader Pro
Updated over a week ago

You can adjust your Daily Loss Limit in R|Trader Pro for all Rithmic-based platforms, but it’s important to note that you can only reduce the amount, you cannot increase it. To reduce your Daily Loss Limit in R|Trader Pro for a Rithmic-based platform, you’ll need to:

1) Launch R|Trader Pro

2) Click "File" and select "Trader Dashboard"

✅ If the account isn't visible there, click on the filter icon and select the account in reference 👇

3) Right-click the account in reference and select "View Risk Parameters"

4) After clicking "View Risk Parameters," you will need to click on the tab "Risk Parameters set by the Trader" as indicated below.

After following the steps above, you will need to complete these last few steps to set your desired risk:

1) Change "Auto Liquidate" to enabled.

2) Change "Auto Liquidate Criteria" to Loss Limit.

3) Input the daily loss you desire in the box titled "Auto Liquidate threshold" to an amount that is less than the Daily Loss Limit that is currently on account. These steps are indicated by the screenshot below.

4) Make sure to click "Apply" at the bottom right of the window to complete the changes.
