TopstepX™ now has a 'Lock-Out' button. This exciting new feature allows you to manually lock yourself out for the remainder of the trading day. Perfect if you are up big (or down) on the day and need a helpful hand in controlling your emotions.

Once the 'Lock-Out' is complete, you will not be able to trade in the account until the markets reopen. Any open positions or working orders are flattened automatically and any copy-traded follower positions are exited.

Topstep's Trader Support Team is not available to reverse a Lock-Out once it's completed. This feature is intended to help you step away from trading when you're ready to call it a day.

If you want to use the Lock-Out feature, simply navigate to your chart and click the red button at the top right.

You'll see 'Manual Lock-Out' when hovering over the button. If you're ready to continue, go ahead and click the button.

You'll be asked to confirm your decision to lock out the account. Click 'Confirm Lock-Out' to proceed.

You'll then see a confirmation letting you know the Lock-Out was successful!
