How to add food items to your nutrition log

You can log your food items from your dashboard (by clicking on the "+" sign, then on Nutrition) or from your calendar (by clicking on the second icon on the left in the main menu). 

Add Food to Log From your Calendar

  1. First, click on the '+' on the day you want to log

  2. Select 'Nutrition'. Your nutrition log for that day will open

  3. Enter the food item you want to log in the 'Search Food' field on the right

  4. Once you find it, simply drag it to the left in one of your meals

  5. You can specify the quantity you took for that item

More Options 

You have access to more options in the Search Foods section: Favorites, Recent, and Custom Food.

  • The Favorites: the favourites will gather 1. the food items you added to the favourites, 2. the custom foods you created.

If you know you're going to eat bananas regularly, adding that item to your favourites will help you find it quicker. To add a food item to your favourite, simply click on the star icon next to the item from the search results.

  • Recent: the 'Recent' list will show the latest food items you used

  • The custom food icon: you can't find what you're looking for in the food bank? By clicking on the "+" sign at the top of the Search area you'll be able to enter a custom food item.

As you're adding your food items to your nutrition log, watch the nutrients report on the left update automatically!
