Managing Your Subscription

Everything you need to know about upgrading, downgrading, and cancelling your Touch Stay plan.

View Your Subscription

Head to Profile > Billing to see your current subscription.

  • New customer? Click Activate now! to start your subscription. If you're not ready yet, just close the screen, no pressure.

  • Already subscribed? You can view your current plan and add or remove guides by clicking Update subscription.


How to Upgrade Your Plan

  • Go to the Billing page by clicking the user icon at the top right of the screen

  • Select Update subscription

  • Choose your new plan and confirm

πŸ’‘ Don't worry about being overcharged; the system will only charge a prorated amount for the new guides based on the number of days remaining in your current plan.


How pricing is calculated when a subscription is upgraded

When you upgrade, we'll charge a prorated amount right away, that just means you only pay for the time left in your current billing period at the new rate.

Example:

  • You're on a 1-property plan at $99/year (started Jan 1, 2023)

  • You upgraded to 2 properties at $150/year on May 20, 2023

  • You have 225 days left in your year

  • Prorated charge today: $31.44

(We take the $51 difference, divide by 365 days, then multiply by your remaining 225 days)

Your next renewal (Jan 1, 2024): $150 for the full year

πŸ’‘ Don't worry about being overcharged, you'll only pay for what you use!


How to downgrade your plan

  1. Remove any guides you no longer need. Not sure how to delete a guide? Find out here.

  2. Head to the Billing page and click Update subscription to adjust your plan

πŸ‘‰ Downgrades take effect on your next renewal date, not immediately.


Please note that only the account owner or an admin can make subscription changes.


How to cancel your account

  1. Go to the Billing page under the profile icon (top right).

  2. Click Open billing portal.

  3. Click Cancel plan

πŸ‘‰ Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period β€” so you can keep using Touch Stay right up until that date.

πŸ“Œ Important

  • If you've already started a downgrade, the cancellation button will no longer be available. Your downgrade will take effect on your next billing date instead. If you'd still like to cancel your account entirely, just contact our support team, and we'll take care of it for you.

  • Please note that only the account owner or an admin can make subscription changes.
