How does the sharing process work?
Usually, on photo booths and video booths, the process was the same. A video or photo has to be processed and rendered, applying filters, musics, and other processes are going on.
The normal way to reduce this time was to use a sharing station, that allows guests to use a tablet for sharing, reducing the queue on the main recording device. However, this was not perfect, since the processing time used to delay the usage of the booth.
What is early sharing, and why is it important?
The media processing time cannot be skipped, it is a process that must happen. However, early sharing creates a sharing screen while media processes. This allows the guest to step off the platform or exit the booth to share the file with any of the different options while it is processing.
This, severely reduces the guest time on the booth, ensuring a better flow, reducing queue, and allowing all guests on bigger events to use the booth. Moreover, this won't replace a sharing station, you can still connect one to your event, and have guests to use it to reduce recording device usage.
How to enable early sharing
This option is very simple to use, it is just an enabled/disable toggle and no further configuration is needed:
Navigate to the event settings > Sessions
Enable 'early sharing'
At this point, early sharing will be activated, and once a session is finished, the different sharing methods will pop up while the file renders.
